About Us
Liz is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Thailand, 1996-1998). She received her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz and her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a high school physics teacher.
As a military dependent, Max grew up all over the world. He began his life in Osaka, Japan, started school in Germany, and graduated from high school at the International School in Bangkok, Thailand. He spent the next 3 years in the Army, then joined his family's locksmith business on O'ahu.

Max Salz started in the lock and safe business in 1975. He has experience with everything from Costco safes to bank vaults and military installations. His work has taken him to all the main Hawaiian islands, as well as to Guam, American Samoa, and Christmas Island, and he has competed successfully in competitions against safecrackers from the around the world.
